ANOTHER ENGINE BROKEN DOWN Rhyl, Flintshire.—At 10.15 on the night of the 19th of November, 1947, the coastguard telephoned that flares had been seen two miles north-north-east iof the pier, and the motor life-boat The Gordon Warren was launched at 11 o'clock in a light south-south- east breeze with a choppy sea. She found the local motor fishing vessel Norcin with her engines broken down and her mast broken. She had two men on board. The life-boat towed her to Foryd and returned to her station arriving at 1.45 the next morning.— Rewards, £14 Qs..
