LOBSTER BOAT DRIFTING IN A GALE Barra Island, Outer Hebrides.—During the morning of the 20th of November, 1947, the relatives of two local men who had put out in a lobster fishing boat, reported that they were overdue and as a moderate south-westerly gale was blowing, with a rough sea, anxiety was felt for their safety. The motor life- boat Lloyd's was launched at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, and found the fishing boat drifting three miles off Castlebay, and took the two men aboard.
