NEARLY ON THE ROCKS Arklow, Co. Wicklow.—At 7.30 on the night of the llth of November, 1947, flares to the north of the harbour were seen, and the motor life-boat Inbhear Mor was launched at 7.40, in a southerly ' gale with a very rough sea. She found a local fishing boat with a crew of four, drifting on to the Porters Rocks. She got a rope to her and towed her into harbour, arriving back at her station at 8.45.—Rewards, £9 6s..
