FISHING BOAT OVERDUE Thurso, Caithness-shire.—At 12.48 in the afternoon of the 21st of June, 1947, the Wick coastguard reported that the motor fishing vessel Primula, of Wiek, last seen on the night of the 18th off Sandside Head, had been due at Scrabster on the 20th but had not arrived, and at 3.45 the motor life-boat H.C.J. was launched. She searched in 'a light northerly breeze and moderate sea and found the Primula twelve miles north-west of Holborn Head, with six men on board. Her engine had broken down. The life-boat towed her to Scrabster and arrived back at her station at 6.30 in the evening.—Pro- perty. Salvage Case..
