MOTOR LAUNCH BROKEN DOWN Selsey, Sussex.—At about 8.40 in the morning of February 6th, 1947, the coastguard reported that two motor' launches were flying signals two miles east-south-east of Selsey Bill Tower and it .was thought that they needed help. A moderate easterly breeze was blowing, with a choppy sea. The motor life-boat Canadian Pacific, was launched at 8.55 and found the motor launch Flying Christine, of Shoreham, with a crew of two. She had broken a fuel pipe. The life-boat towed her to Littlehampton and returned to her station, arriving at 3.30 in the after- noon.—Rewards, £23 4s. lOd..
