THE fund which the Mayor of Tyne- mouth opened to supplement the pensions paid by the Institution to the dependent relatives of the men who lost their lives when the Cullercoats motor life-boat capsized on exercise on 22nd April, 1939, was closed on 24th October and trustees were appointed, two of them being the present Mayor and the borough treasurer of Tyne- mouth.
