Wick, Caithness-shire. — During the afternoon of the 25th January, 1939, two local fishing boats were caught at sea by a strong easterly breeze, with a rough sea. They were seen making for harbour and the motor life-boat City of Edinburgh was launched at 3.30 P.M., and escorted them safely in. She returned to her station at 4.45 P.M.— Rewards, £5 145-.
