The following letter has been received from a lady who for over fourteen years has been a collector for one of the Institution's branches:—• "I wish to assure you that all my efforts on behalf of your great caus have been well repaid by the friend- ships I have made, and the kindness I have received from so many people in the course of collecting; people I might not have met, and friendships I might have missed otherwise.

" I am now an old woman, but hope- ful that I may carry on for a bit and leave someone to take my place when I am called awav.".
