Ramsgate, Kent.—At 10.13 P.M. on the 13th September, 1938, the coastguard reported having received a message from the Brake Light-vessel that a motor vessel was aground half a mile east of North Goodwin Buoy. A gentle breeze was blowing and the sea was smooth. The reserve motor lifeboat The Brothers, doing relief duty at Ramsgate, was launched at 10.18 P.M., and found the motor vessel to be the Tempo, of Groningen, bound for Ipswich, She stood by, and the Tempo refloated,unaided, shortly after midnight. The life-boat returned to her station at 12.44 A.M.—Rewards, £10 11s..
