The Huinber, Yorkshire.—At 6.40 A.M.
on the 27th May, 1938, the signal station reported that a vessel was drifting to sea. A light southerly wind was blowing, with a moderate sea. The motor life-boat City of Bradford II was launched at 7.20 A.M. and found the fishing boatYoung Dick, of Hull, with only one man on board. The boat was drifting towards the Middle Binks, her anchor having dragged while the man was asleep.
