A Motor Fishing Boat

Arranmore, Co. Donegal.—At 8 P.M.

on the 12th January, 1938, it was reported that one of the local motor fishing boats was in danger owing to a breakdown of her engine. A southerly gale was blowing, with a very rough sea. The motor life-boat K.T.J.S. waslaunched at 8.20 P.M. She stood by while the crew of the fishing boat repaired the engine, and then escorted the boat into safety. She returned to her station at 12.30 A.M. on the 13th.
