Miss Jane Leresche, who died in October, 1937, had been the honorary secretary of the Seaford branch for nearly ten years, and before that the assistant honorary secretary for over four years. During her honorary sec- retaryship the branch collected £1,317.

Miss Leresche was awarded in 1933 the gold badge, which is given only for distinguished honorary services.
