Spes Bona
Eyemouth, Berwickshire. — On the 25th January a whole S.E. gale was blowing with a very heavy breaking sea. The small fishing boat Spes Bona was at sea, and there were fears that she would have difficulty in making harbour. The pulling and sailing lifeboat Anne Frances put off at 11 A.M., and stood by in the bay until the Spes Bona had got in to safety. She returned to moorings at 3 P.M.—Rewards, £13 Os. 6d..
