Galway Bay, Co. Galway.—On the morning of the 24th January there was a very urgent call from the neighbouring island of Inishere, the most southerly of the Aran Isles, for a doctor. The sea was very rough and the wind so strong that no boat other than the motor life-boat William Evans could make the trip.
