Eyemouth, Berwickshire.—During the morning of the 19th January a strong west breeze sprang up, bringing a very heavy sea, which broke dangerously outside the harbour. About twelve small fishing-boats were at sea, and anxiety was felt for their safety in making harbour. The pulling and sailing life-boat Anne Frances was launched at 2.15 P.M.
