Galway Bay, Co. Galway.—The motor life-boat William Evans was launched at 7.30 P.M. on the llth December, in answer to an urgent call from the neighbouring island of Inishnaine, for a priest to administer last rites to a dying man. No other suitable boat was available. A strong breeze was blowing, with a heavy sea, and the weather was thick. The life-boat made the trip, and returned to her station at 10 P.M.—No expense to the Institution..
