Newbiggin, Northumberland. — The local motor fishing cobles Homeland, Provider and Harold did not return when expected on the 17th December, and the pulling and sailing life-boat Arthur R. Dawes was launched at 2.2 P.M. A fresh S.E. breeze was blowing, with a heavy swell. Just as the lifeboat got away the cobles were seen approaching.
