DURING 1936 sixty-four golf clubs in Great Britain and Ireland held competitions in aid of the life-boat service for which the Institution presented spoons as prizes. As a result the clubs contributed £196 11s. 5d.

This is eleven more clubs than in 1935 and an increase in the contribution of £22 6s. 6d. The same appeal has been made to golf clubs for 1937..
