Water Nymph

Wells, Norfolk.—At 7 A.M. on the 24th May the motor cruiser Water Nymph left Wells for Boston, in charge of the life-boat's second-coxswain and another man. Later on the coastguard reported that she was flying distress signals, and the motor life-boat Royal Silver Jubilee 1910-1935 was launched at 9.15 A.M. A moderate to strong N.E. breeze was blowing, with a rough sea. The life-boat found the WaterNymph about two miles N.N.W. of the harbour, in distress owing to the breakdown of her engine. She towed her back to harbour, and returned to her station at 11.15 A.M.—Rewards, £8 Us..
