Lily

Whitby, Yorkshire.—The motor fishing coble Lily left harbour at 7 A.M. on the 19th April to haul crab pots. Later on the wind freshened considerably, and when the coble was seen making for home a strong N.W. breeze was blowing, with a dangerous sea. The Whitby No. 2 pulling and sailing lifeboat Jacob and Rachel Vallentine was launched at 10 A.M., escorted the Lily into harbour, and returned to her station at 11.30 A.M. — Rewards, £8 5s. 6d..
