Rosmeur

Appledore, Devon.—On the morning of the 23rd February the coastguard at Westward Ho reported that a vessel was anchored in a dangerous position close to Bar Buoy. A fresh N.W. breeze was blowing, with a moderate sea. The motor life-boat V.C.S. was launched at 11.16 A.M., and found the vessel to be the French schooner Rosmeur, of Douarnenez, bound in ballast for Cardiff. The life-boat stood by her until she was able to go on her way, and returned home at 3.30 P.M.—Rewards, £10 Is. 3d..
