Mizpa, John and Margaret, and Primrose

Newbiggin, Northumberland.—On the morning of the 30th January the coastguard reported that the fishing cobles Mizpa, John and Margaret and Primrose were out, and as a heavy swell was running, with a moderate westerly breeze, they would be in some danger. The pulling and sailing lifeboat Arthur R. Dawes was launched at 12.14 P.M., escorted the cobles into safety, and returned to her station at 12.41 P.M.—Rewards, £11 3s. 6d..
