Greta
Portpatrick, Wigtownshire.—The motor life-boat J and W put out at 6.20 P.M.
on the 14th January, in a moderate E. wind, with a moderate sea, as the motor fishing boat Greta, of Portpatrick, which should have returned at 3 P.M., had not come back. She had three men on board. She was found, with her engine broken down, about eight miles north-west of Portpatrick harbour, drifting towards the Irish coast. The life-boat took the Greta in tow and brought her home.—Rewards, £6.
