Yacht Surprise

On the 13th June two men on board the steam yacht Surprise, of Jersey, which was lying at anchor in the roads, were severely scalded by the bursting of a steam-pipe. The motor life-boat Hearts of Oak put out at 11.15 A.M. A moderate S.W. breeze was blowing, with a moderate sea. She brought the men ashore, and a waiting ambulance took them to Ryde Hospital. The life-boat returned to her station at 11.50 A.M.—Rewards, £2 135..
