The Silver Jubilee Naval Review
ON 16th July the King reviewed the fleet at Spithead, as part of the cele- brations of his Silver Jubilee. The motor life-boats from Yarmouth and Bembridge, in the Isle of Wight, were on duty throughout the day, under the command of the southern district inspector of life-boats. They patrolled the area outside the fleet, each with two men on the look out, in case of any accidents to small boats or passenger steamers..
