Mr. Edward Cochran, J.P., Paisley
The Paisley branch has suffered a severe loss by the death, in his eighty- eighth year, of its honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. Edward Cochran, J.P. He had held that post for twenty- four years, and in 1922 was awarded the life-boat picture in gratitude for his many services to the Institution. Mr. Cochran left a legacy of £200, free of duty, to the Paisley branch..
