Branch

At 11 A.M. on the 17th May a N.N.E. gale was blowing, with a heavy broken sea, and the local fishing boat Branch, with a crew of four, was still at sea. The motor life-boat Lady Rothes put out at 11.10 A.M. She picked up the Branch about a mile off Kinnaird Head, and kept to windward of her until she made Fraserburgh harbour. Conditions were very bad and the fishing boat was in great danger.—Rewards, £5 3*..
