A strong S.S.W. breeze was blowing, with a heavy swell. The motor life- boat Lily Glen—Glasgow was launched at 11.15 A.M. and found the ship to be the Blairbeg, of Glasgow, bound from Glasgow to Boston, U.S.A., with a cargo of coal.
