Hyperion
Bridlington, Yorkshire.—The motor life-boat Stanhope Smart was launched at 4 P.M. on the 2nd August to the help of the fishing boat Hyperion, with a crew of five, which was in difficulties owing to engine trouble. A moderate S.E. wind was blowing, with a rough sea, and the tide was ebbing. The lifeboat came up with the Hyperion about a mile to the S.S.E. of Bridlington, and escorted her into harbour at 6.35 P.M.
