Southcnd-on-Sea, Essex. — On the evening of the 21st August a message was received from the pier head that a barge was in a dangerous position west of the pier. She was the Florence Myall, of Rochester, with a crew of two, and her sails had been blown away. A strong S.S.W. breeze was blowing, with a rough sea.
