Pilgrimage to Fraserburgh
THE life-boat station at Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, took part in a very interesting event during July—the welcome which was given to men and women from Fraserburgh living in Canada, the United States, South Africa and various places of Great Britain, who had come back on pil- grimage to their native town. During the pilgrimage week, from July 17th to the 24th, trips were run by the Fraserburgh motor life-boat, and also by the Cromarty motor life-boat, which paid a two days' visit to Fraserburgh.
A life-saving demonstration was given by the two life-boats and the life-saving apparatus. There was a concert in aid of the funds of the branch, and the week concluded with a life-boat supper and dance, also in aid of the branch funds, in which some three hundred people took part..
