A Rowing Boat
On the after- noon of the 25th June the coastguard reported that a rowing boat with six apparently inefficient persons on board was making towards harbour. Shortly afterwards a thick fog settled down and it was decided to send out the motor life-boat Mary Scott to look for the boat.
She was launched at 4.50 P.M., found the rowing boat about half a mile south of the harbour, and towed her safely in. She returned to her station at 5.20 P.M.—Rewards, £8 8s..
