From An Old Boathouse

A stone wliich was built into the old life-boat house at Cambois (Northumberland). This house, now destroyed, was erected in 1854, at the cost of Sir Matthew Ridley, Bt., who also presented the site. It was described at the time as " a boathouse of a very commodious and superior character.".
