Sabina
Just after 5 P.M. on the 3rd February the coxswain was told that the coble Sabina, with two men aboard, had not returned to harbour. A moderate S.S.W. breeze was blowing, with a rough sea, and it was thought advisable to send out the motor life-boat Herbert Joy II to look for her. She found the coble about a mile out, trying to make harbour under sail, and in danger of being swamped.
The life-boat went alongside and escorted her safely back to harbour.
The life-boat arrived back at her station at 6.40 P.M.—Rewards, £38 18s..
