Progress

The Scar- borough motor life-boat Herbert Joy II was launched at 12.50 P.M. on the 18th February, as a message had been received from the Rurniston coast- guard that a small boat was making very bad weather three or four miles east of Hurniston. A N.E. gale was blowing, with a very heavy sea. The life-boat found the Scarborough fishing boat Progress about three miles out and escorted her safely into harbour through a very heavy sea.—Rewards, £19 6s. 6d..
