The Span- ish steamer Arantzazu, of Bilbao, stranded six miles south of Haile Buoy on the 14th January, while bound laden from Bilbao to Imming- ham. She carried a crew of twenty- nine. The life-boat stood by the steamer, and, at the request of the master ran out a kedge anchor. This enabled her to refloat on the flood tide, and then the life-boat escorted her up the Humber to safety.
