Rosenburg
The Ramsgate Coast- guard telephoned at 11.30 A.M. on the 14th November that the Tongue Light-vessel had reported a ship's Life-boat drifting by in a westerly direction. The Motor Life-boat Lord Southborough (Civil Service No. 1) was launched, in a moderate S.E.
wind, with a moderate sea, and found the boat, with nobody aboard.
She towed her into Margate harbour.
The boat belonged to the Dutch steamer Rozenburg, and had apparently drifted off when the steamer came into collision with another vessel, fortun- ately without loss of life.—Rewards, £8 13s..
