THE fishwives of Cullercoats, Northum- berland, carried out their eleventh annual collection on behalf of the Institution, on 30th July, when the Cullercoats Life-boat had its quarterly road exercise and launch. The collec- tion was again a great success, although, owing to the acute industrial depression in the district, the amount raised wasless than the record collection of £199 last year. This year it was £152. Mrs.
