A Small Boat (3)

The Motor Life- boat Canadian Pacific was launched at 5.50 P.M. on the 5th June in response to information, which had been sent to the Coastguard and passed on by them, that a small boat with two men in her was in trouble between East and West Wittering. A slight N.E. breeze was blowing with a moderate sea, and the weather was fine. After the Life-boat had put out, the Coastguard saw that the boat and her occupants, who were fishing, was not in any trouble. The Life-boat was recalled and reached her Station again at 9 P.M.—Rewards, £8 18s..
