During the morning of the 2nd February a moderate N. breeze was blowing with a very heavy sea running. Several return- ing fishing boats only succeeded in landing at great risk, and two were nearly capsized. The No. 1 Pulling and Sailing Life-boat Forester was therefore launched at 1 P.M. to stand by the remaining boats as they came in.
