The Prince of Wales's Opinion of Life-Boat Days

"Every Town Ought to Have a Flag-Day for the Life-boats." THE Secretary of the Institution had the honour of accompanying the Prince of Wales during part of his tour of the depots on London Life-boat Day. His Royal Highness asked questions about every aspect of the Institution's work, technical, financial and administrative.

He showed the keenest interest in hearing about the sources of the Institution's revenue, and its methods of appeal.

On this point he said, with great emphasis, " Every town ought to have a flag-day for the Life-boat Service." We feel sure that all Life-boat workers will be glad to know this expression of our President's opinion, and will be able to make good use of it in organising their appeals.
