Total lives saved by the Life-boats In 1920, in addition to 30 vessels and boats 451 Life-boats also landed 162 persons, some of whom had taken refuge on light-vessels, whilst others were brought ashore in the Life-boats as a precautionary measure.
Rewards were also granted by the Institution in the same period for saving: by means of Fishing and other Boats, etc 133 Total for 192O 584.
