Obituary
WE regret to report the death of Mr. ROBERT BIRKBECK, which took place on the 19th November, 1920, at the age of eighty-three after a loug illness.
Mr. Birkbeck had been a Member of the Committee of Management since ability and sound judgment, in which Mr. Birkbeck took the keenest interest in its work, and, while his health allowed, was most constant and regular in his attendance at all meetings of the Committee. A man of exceptional 1884, and became a Vice-President in 1915. A brother of the late Sir Edward Birkbeck, who was for many years Chairman of the Institution, there was always a spice of dry humour, his shrewd advice was always at the service of the Committee, and was much valued by them..
