Fishing Cobles (3)
—• Owing to the N.E. wind on the 16th March freshening suddenly, and bringing up a heavy sea, two of the fishing cobles were in great danger when at sea for the purpose of hauling their crab pots.
The Coxswain of the Life-boat happened to be in one of the boats. Information reached the village at about 10 A.M.
that the boats were in great danger; the Bowman, therefore, at once obtained a crew and launched the No. 1 Life-boat Forester, which stood by the cobles until they succeeded in getting into safety..
