The steamer G.K.C., of Noirmontiers, stranded on the Doom Bar on the 4th May. The schooner was first observed making for the harbour at 8.45 A.M., and, after rounding Stepper Point, she struck the Bar. The No. 1 Life-boat Arab was promptly launched, and on reaching the schooner assisted in getting a warp ashore, and stood by until the tide made sufficiently to float the vessel, when she was towed into safety.
