Eliza Jane

At about 10.30 P.M. on the 2nd June a flare was seen about half a mile off Broadhaven Sands, and as the signal was continued the Life-boat William Roberts was launched. She found the ketch Eliza Jane, of Beaumaris, bound to Swansea in ballast, in a sinking con- dition, having struck a rock -while passing through Ramsey Sound.
