Fishing Vessels

A tele- phone message was received at about 11.50 A.M. on the 31st October, stating that several small fishing-vessels belong- ing to Grimsby were in serious danger and apparently unmanageable, owing to a sudden northerly gale and heavy sea.

Orders were given for the Life-boat Charles Burton to be launched, and she proceeded to the boats and stood by them until they succeeded in getting , into shelter under Spurn Point. Jt.
