The schooner Christiana Davis, of Barrow, whilst bound, on 4th March, from [ Queenstown to the Bristol Channel, with a cargo of superphosphate, stranded in Tramore Bay. This occurred shortly before midnight, and the Life-boat Henley was promptly sent to her aid.

The captain refused any assistance, but asked the Life-boat to stand by him for the night. This was done, and at 6.30 o'clock next morning the vessel, with the assistance of some of the Life-boat- men, floated.
