The Institution in common with the whole Empire, mourns the decease of His Majesty King Edward the Seventh.

First as President and then as Patron, His Majesty took the warmest interest in the affairs of the Institution and was ever ready to further its endeavours on behalf of humanity; and the Committee of Management have placed on record in a very special manner their deep sense of the loss which the Institution has sustained through his death.
