Lizzie and Annie
The fishing yawl Lizzie and Annie, oi Arbroath, was returning to port from the fishing grounds about midday on the 7th October, when owing to the strong S.E. wind and heavy sea it was realized that both the boat and her crew would be in considerable danger The Life-boat James Stevens No. 13 was therefore launched at 12.15 P.M., anc stood by her -whilst she crossed the bar life-belts being given to the three men to wear until out of danger. The fishing-boat got into harbour at 1.40 P.M.
